Another growing season is here and Nutrien Ag Solutions is looking forward to serving area farmers from its new retail location near Norquay. 

Nutrien Ag Solutions officially opened its doors with a grand opening celebration on April 26. App. 160 local farmers and community residents toured the new facility and enjoyed a BBQ lunch served by members of the local Royal Canadian Legion.  

The new retail site includes a fertilizer shed with a 10,000 tonne capacity, liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, seed treating facility, chemical shed and office. The retail employs six full-time and six seasonal staff. 

“This state-of-the-art facility was three years in the making,” says Roger Bortis, Nutrien Ag Solutions Canadian Retail Manager. “We are committed to providing innovation for Saskatchewan farmers and investing in our rural communities with new infrastructure and employment opportunities.”
